Zoë Kim
President
Zoë Kim (she/her) is first and foremost a Storyteller who is passionate about creating art that encourages humanity, compassion, and kindness.
As an Actor, her work includes Jane in The Heart Sellers, Lydia / Lady Catherine in Pride and Prejudice, Victoria in Motherf**ker with the Hat, Paulina in The Winter’s Tale (Shakespeare’s Globe in London), and Amanda in 4000 Miles.
As a Writer, her solo show, Did You Eat? (밥 먹었니?), received a world premiere production at CHUANG Stage in the fall of 2024, a NYC premiere at The Public Theater in the fall of 2025, and a Texas premiere at Amphibian Stage in the spring of 2026. She also wrote screenplays for Phone Call, Meet Me at a Funeral (MMF), Do You Wanna Be White?, and multiple episodes of Blue Match Comedy.
Chris Yejin
Vice President
Chris Yejin (she/her) is a first-generation Korean American who has been working steadily as a Director, Writer, and Actor for both theater and film.
She helmed the world premieres of the original play The King's Language at Hollywood Fringe Festival (Encore Award '17), musical I Do for You at the Complex Theater in Hollywood; Your Final Moment at Group PAN; Three Girls, Their Dreams, The War at Korean Cultural Center; and Ahn’s Three Daughters / Midnight Romance / His Ladies at Space GG/PAN in Los Angeles.
As an Actor, she performed in Ms. Purple (Sundance 2019), Fractured (2017), Joy Joy Nail Salon (Tribeca 2017), Spa Night (Sundance 2016), and DOL (Sundance 2012).
Strongly influenced by both Korean and American cultures, she has assimilated her experiences and given them a voice through her work.
Saenam Kim
Treasurer
Saenam Kim (she/her) has a decade of non-profit experience advocating for clients, managing projects, administering grants, and communicating with stakeholders. She brought her bicultural identity to her work at Korean American Family Services Center (KAFSC), and served the unique needs of the Korean American survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
She is well-versed in grant management and non-profit administration from her roles as a Deputy Director at KAFSC and a Grant Manager at the Columbia University School of Social Work. She is passionate about trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care, and believes in the healing power of community.
Saenam is currently pursuing her J.D. at Fordham University.
Nina Ki
Secretary
Nina Ki (xe/she/they) is a Queerean (Queer + Korean) American playwright living in Brooklyn.
Xe graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2008 with a BFA in Dramatic Writing, and xer plays have been read, recorded, and presented nationwide, including with Clubbed Thumb, Ma-Yi Theater Company, MCC Theater, The Parsnip Ship, Yale Summer Cabaret, and Queens Theater.
Xer play “Moon Bear” was given special consideration for the Relentless Award, and xer play “Ravage” was a finalist for the Playwrights Realm's Fellowship. Xe was also an inaugural member of The Parsnip Ship's Radio Roots Writer's Group and a member of Clubbed Thumb's Early Career Writer's Group, and is currently a member of The Public Theater's Emerging Writers Group and Ma-Yi's Writers Lab.
